The End of The Barn

All good things must come to an end. The End of The Barn was the very last Barn show ever.

Invited back to the last show were some of the best bands to ever grace The Barn, and some of the best friends The Barn could ever ask for. The night was comprised of bands from across the Midwest, including Chicago, West Lafayette, Bloomington-Normal, and Urbana-Champaign.

Starting off the night with an acoustic solo set, Chaepter made their second appearance at The Barn promoting their new album Naked Era.

Fan favorite Loose delivered an incredible performance, filled with their special combination of jazz, funk, and pop. They ended their set with their classic cover of Footloose.

Fresh off of their new album Public Relations, Purdue legends Please Her returned to The Barn with one of the most unique performances The Barn has ever seen. Theremin solos and holy water were just some of the things showcased in their always unique and changing performances.

Makeshift took the stage for the first time at The Barn. Filling in for Garden Girl, Makeshift had a compact, explosive set that ended with one smashed guitar, and a lot of excited fans.
Much like Bum Rush, Stancyzk has been a supporter of The Barn since Day 1. Without them, The Barn would not be what it is today, and we were honored to have them join us for our last show ever. Stancyzk, is a band that must be seen to be believed.
Playing their 7th and final performance at The Barn was the lovely Bum Rush. Having been supporters of The Barn since Day 1, The Barn was honored to have had Bum Rush headline our last show. Switching things around, frontman Julian switched to drums, while drummer JT switched to vocals for their opening cover of Hurt. Bringing their A Game as always, Bum Rush delivered one of the most memorable performances of the night, featuring a crowdsurfing bass solo by the one and only Julian.
Closing out the night, as the last band to ever play The Barn, we have Superkick. An absolutely killer band, and some absolutely great people. Superkick delivered a legendary set featuring some of their hits and some truly killer covers including My Own Worst Enemy and Jessie's Girl.
